It all begins... in the studio with an empty canvas and a layering of Golden Arcylics on the white gesso.  From here I will begin sketching.
This is the first step as I begin a new painting.

Begin Again

Every day we have the opportunity to begin again.  Begin anew. We cannot change what happened yesterday or last week.  We can change today and how we face it and how we react to the events of the day.

Begin again on this beautiful Sunday morning. 

We celebrate Palm Sunday and the journey of Jesus into Jerusalem.  Many were joyous with the thoughts of the moment and the excitement.  Jesus knew in his heart what was ahead.  In life, we do not.  We must trust our Father that He will care for us and see us through whatever journey is there for us today and tomorrow.

Celebrate this day; begin again with God in your heart.

We lost another dear family member this week. She has celebrated her 'continuation' day and is now with her mom and dad and her other cousins.  She leaves behind a family that will always celebrate her gentleness.  My aunt was special to all of us. She loved each of us dearly for who we were and was always ready with a hug or a 'good job'.    My memories are of breakfast pastries smeared with butter on top. It was not like they were not sweet enough as they were, but at her small kitch...
