We are back! I have loaded a slide show of the trip! I am so happy to be safely home after two 12 hour days of driving. We were unable to stop very long inbetween so I could not blog.

My mother was admitted back into the hospital early Sunday morning and we left immediately to return to Dallas.

Everything that happens in life has a reason. Even when you think you have wasted your time. Even with the bad stuff. We never know the outcome of situations and the whys, but everything has a purpose and time passes and what is to come finally surfaces and we begin to slowly understand the why with the outcome. God has a plan, and although different from ours, we must stay steady with our faith and belief in Him.

There is no waste of time...This is your life and every moment has a purpose. Life life to its fullest!

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those...
