Appropriate painting I do believe... but it is day time and just past nine. I am suppose to be at the framer, was to be there six minutes ago, so this is a very very short blog. I have over 25 emails wanting to know about the bed.

The Bed is WONDERFUL. We slept like logs... and woke happily...but a bit late! The only ONLY negative is the mattress is short. We have a huge four poster bed and are used to the big deep mattress set we had. Our mattress sits very very low. I am hoping Terry can figure out something to rig to bring it up higher. I feel like I could slip through between the back of the bed and the mattress with the hole that is there!!! I high recommend the bed after one night, but we need to see after two or three nights!

I like the verse I chose to include today. Think about the words and see what you think. As a human we would have a difficult existing with out hope. And for those of us that believe, we add a huge arsenal with the word FAITH. If we have faith and hope I do believe we have it all. We cannot see the future. We know not what path we will take; we can be certain if we make a plan, God is laughing... it will never happen as we envision it. With our unwavering faith and our hope, we must learn to sit back and wait upon the Lord. It will happen... Hold on for the ride.

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert and Shelia at the Southlake Lowe's in Appliances

The Marsh... of our lives? Walking with God.

They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector. Piano Girls

We have family and friends in this area. This painting was a more impressionistic piece than the Girl on Piano pieces from 2008-2010.  It is the tilt of the head and the precious lift of the hand with the outer small finger delicately angled. Not quite old enough to be using pedals, her feet are crossed below the bench. Back in the day of my lessons and playing in the late fifties and early sixties, young girls wore dresses. I miss those days. I still prefer dresses over pants today... even my studio jeans.  One of my modern girl on Piano pieces.... "Playing for Papa" These make incredible gifts for the holidays using music that is important to you or to the person receiving the gift.
