So much to do as I wake from NINE hours of sleep. My large BEVO leaves today for Hill Country. That was the 48 x 72 inch Longhorn Commission piece I did for a decorator out of Florida who was doing a ranch in Hill Country of Texas. BUT in it's place a new canvas of that size arrives to do a similar painting for a collector in Cleburne Texas, Keith...I am ready to start your baby!

Yesterday was a daze as I was so sleepy I functioned through out the day but can't remember much! I know we drove down to Ft Worth to finish up our signatures over the wreck this summer. That is a closed door at last. We were in a unique building near the main old train station for Ft Worth. I spent most of my time pouring over antique photographs of yesteryears.

Today I begin painting again. Inspiration does not take long as I usually cannot wait to pick up a brush and begin working. The Lord provides so much for me to draw upon. I will be using my Meditating Moments today to reestablish balance with in so I have peaceful painting. I hope you are still using that in your life. The resources God provides us are unending. We limit ourselves, he doesn't.

That poor little 8 x 10 pony was loved by a company to do very large prints and it was not here for me to even use to scan... so I created something with the same heart, a kindred spirit. The underlays are pages from a western book and then torn papers of different varieties were added along with stains of paint and purposeful areas of paint.  This would not be a painting I would do today, but the goal was to capture the spirit of the first painting. We lost another dear family member this week. She has celebrated her 'continuation' day and is now with her mom and dad and her other cousins.  She leaves behind a family that will always celebrate her gentleness.  My aunt was special to all of us. She loved each of us dearly for who we were and was always ready with a hug or a 'good job'.    My memories are of breakfast pastries smeared with butter on top. It was not like they were not sweet enough as they were, but at her small kitch...
