A Painting a Day




Monday morning! I have posted Hills One 2007. Last summer I did a series of these and they were popular....just for the fun of it, I painted one this year. In fact last year they were so popular that I ended up doing a huge commission piece 3 by 4 feet! They are a delight to paint and fun to view!

Today are trips to the Doctor and then home...Would really like my right had to straighten out. Typing HURTS!! This week I have to finish up the New York pieces for shipping next week, so I will be busy doing edges and varnishing!

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those...
