A Painting A Day

Delightful bright colors on this sunny Texas day. I finished this beauty this morning. Caramels and Roses with soft creams and marigolds complete this painting. Thick paint and a palette knife create the ridges and dimension.

Well, I am slowly catching up at home. Doing wash and floors and cleaning out left overs out of the refrig. Not sure what we will eat. Terry is due home in the next few minutes.

I am on a new computer, a Mac and struggling to regain balance without half my programs on here yet. I will be using the PC for uploading to my website for ebay etc...but otherwise I will be weaning off AOL except for email. TOO Much paper work switching everything.

Stacey and Larry are taking off the rest of this week and will return to work next week. They are up at the funeral home today picking up the urn and Grant's ashes. I know it will be another emotional day for them. Yesterday we all met in Dallas and took Terry's Dad BEN out for lunch celebrating his 81 years here on this earth. Food at MAINSTREAM in Dallas is the best fish in Dallas! The Pineapple bread pudding isn't too shabby either~!

I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years? You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years.
