A Painting A Day

just a quick note...heading for bed already...was with out electricity from four this morning until after seven. I played my harp by firelight and candlelight...it was pretty cool....I did finish up this painting after the sun rose and I pulled my easel in by the fire...it was also COLD. I didn't even crank up the computer until after lunch...so it has been a down day for art production!

My grandson was here for lunch and a mean game of Chinese Checkers...My favorite!

More tomorrow...the above painting is six layers of oils... overlaid . It is a beauty in person!

I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years? You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years.
