A Painting a Day

ALMOST happy new year!!! We are going to go to the Meadows Museum in Dallas near SMU today to see the Monet exhibit ...I think they are several other artists, but Hubby didn't share the whos who at the show....I think my parents will go with us!

MEANWHILE...I just finished this energetic painting above and it is already on eBay. It is Holbein Duo Oils mixed with IMPASTO to create a THICKER body of paint for the palette knife to move on the canvas.

Stay safe tonight! Don't party so hard you get a headache and do not drink and drive.

I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years? You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years.
