A Painting a Day

Time draws near for the holidays! I will be painting less the next two weeks...so I may only post when I have things to post...shouldn't miss too many days!

This painting is soooo thick with paint..it literally took tubes multiplied by tubes. Layering it all with three different size palette knives. This is definitely a painting that will draw attention in your home.

I am off to shower and fix up some breaded chicken, mashed potatoes and a fresh salad....haven't had anything since breakfast and I was up at four a.m. ...it is almost two here now.

I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years? You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years.
