A Painting a Day

A third painting in my reining series, and this time a cowgirl at her best! When I was looking through pictures and deciding what to paint, I kept coming back to this one because it was a dance....the cowgirl sits so coolly in the saddle ~ while maintaining balance and grace as the horse pivots and turns swiftly....it is a motion that seems to defy the rules and a unique moment to capture on canvas. Thanks to Trina and to Terry as I finished this composition up this week.

Today is Saturday and I am busy with sewing drapes and house work. Will do a new piece today, a small original ACEO card. Conni Togel (Charisma Art and fellow member of the FIVE GRACES) visited with me yesterday. I am encouraged and will try it! My life is unfolding in divine order.

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Worrisome times laced with prayers. The world seems like a scary place lately. Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes. My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years? You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
