Laurie Pace - Fine Artist

This gorgeous mare is entitled "Inspired One Time". Using a new technique, this requires a lot of paint with about four layers involved. This allow me to carefully mold out the face and the features I want to highlight. This is my third painting in this style and it truly is something I enjoy because as I paint I am solving the composition, studying it, carving it and creating it...thinking dimensionally as I work.

The floors around here are near completion. Only a small section of hallway to go and two small hall closets. THEN the shoe molding and we can move the furniture back in place! Yeah for my terrific Husband.

Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years? You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years.
