It is early morning, but I wanted to share this REFLECTIVE painting with you. I just finished it, and it was a beauty to paint! Full color, palette knife and buttery Holbein Duo Oils, what more could I ask for!

We continue on our floor journey. Terry is a bit tired and down in the back...but we are 3/4 of the way done, with the most difficult room ahead, the kitchen and utility room...moving the dreaded washer and dryer. We may take a few days break from it all and go to the lake!

I noticed my brother's blog is up on his kitchen redo...glad it is him and not me, but when I think of the great food that comes out of his kitchen...can't wait to see what happens with the new one!

I leave you with these thoughts, " Count it all joy, my brethren, when you meet various trials, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." James 1:2-4.

I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years? You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years.
