BLESSINGS and Let Them Eat Cake!

Every person or family has those months they find stacked with birthdays of family members and friends. The party goes on almost all month. Different house, different restaurant... and LOTS of Birthday Cake.

July is one of three busy months for our Crazy Life Family!  It started with our Daughter in Love's sister celebrating, next came My hubby's birthday and then my mother's birthday so far just this week, only 14 days into the Month. Hubby's celebration gets spread out... with Lunch on Sunday, boating the morning of his birthday and then dinner out again. After dinner all the grands that live in our neighborhood came to have cake!

Made by our eldest grand daughter, A Devil's Food Chocolate Cake with Orange Icing.  She is in incredible chef in her own right, baking cakes from an early age.

Here is where it all was:  Mexican food on Sunday at Rita's... Chicken Fried Steak and all the trimmings on Tuesday at Cartwrights in Denton... along with the cakes... and then yesterday, German food including potato pancakes, Ruebens, Kessler (Boneless Pork Chop) and Hungarian Chicken... all from Henks Deli

Friday is here... and we have a break in the rich food... The Cake left over above is in the freezer! Back to fresh veggies, and healthy eating... oh wait... there are more birthdays ahead. This is much worse than Thanksgiving,  or wait, maybe it's better?

Many celebrate their natal day with parties and families gathering. We give thanks and pray over the 'birthday' person. It is a joyful time. That is what your life is suppose to be, a joyful time!

From the Bible verse above (3 John), if you want to have a full life with joy and contentment, this starts with your relationship with God.  Realizing in your human relationships, you need that God foundation to navigate earthly situations with people.

Relationships often have disagreements. Hatred can build in seconds while each person is trying to defend their side. We must realize our lives are built on our Father God and his unfailing love for us, no matter what we do. In marriage it is vitally important to begin by stopping your "reactions" and "anger" and remembering your vows to love, honor, respect, and support your spouse in sickness and in health, and in all situations.

You cannot UNRING A BELL.  You can not take back anger and hurtful words. You are not abiding in Him if you are struggling with this. If you want a full peaceful joyful life, it starts with our Father in Heaven.  Celebrating these July birthdays, with my Mom at 94... I recognize the peace and joy that can exist within each of us for a lifetime. God's love goes the distance here with you on earth in this lifetime...and continues in Heaven. He wants you to be happy and content and with Him always. He goes before you and is with you right now. Relax and smile and give thanks.

Sunlit Bowl

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2025 Sunlit Bowl Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   A Painting of soft pink and white flowers   created in 2013 brings back memories of living at Lake Cypress Springs. I loved it there. It did not love me!  Mold was my downfall.  I was prolific at painting there with my studio looking over the waters of a large catfish pond and Lake Cypress Springs. The mold pushed us back to DRY Dallas.  God guides our path today.  Memories are flooding in with the morning sun.  Proverbs 4:18    “ The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”  Today will be over 100 degrees but by Saturday the high is 79. Weather is the main talk these days. Remember I am in Texas.   We heard they may get snow in the Ohio River Valley. We are to see storms from the Pacific Hurricane coming our directio...
A Bit of Wonder Contemporary Horse Oil Daily Painting Art by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 x 2 inches of thick buttery oils! Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...
