Evening Shadows and Stars . Touch me in the Moonlight.
Garth was playing in the background... like four different albums during the first day of this paint. I finished it up to Alan Jackson and some gospel music. This painting was FUN FUN FUN to do. Every stroke of my knife was play and discovery. I am leaning in more to enjoy the process and let things happen with the paint.
This piece will be in the Western Show at Mirada the end of March along with the Buffaloes, other Horses and Rocky the Longhorn. Maybe I should rename the Longhorn painting Rocky Horning In. I better write Steve about it at Mirada. I have really begun to like special names for my paintings that make them stand out proudly. Nothing is worse than a painting named the wrong thing or a person that never liked their name. It can cast a reputation on the painting or the person.
Keeping it all in Sync.

Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Psalm 73:25-26 NIV
