Wow, yesterday was an active painting day! This is one I finished up and I love painting Texas Oaks, but in the spring, the Crab Trees bloom with beautiful pink blooms. This is my impression of the crab tree in bloom.

Even Crab Trees do more than "Crab". This can be said about people too. I know everyone has one of those in their lives. The complainer. They are always complaining about everything. We often grow weary of being around them and make excuses not to be. In actuality you might find if you give some attention and demonstrate a happier more positive attitude around them you might see them relax. Dig around and smile at them and offer up a true compliment to them. My hunch is folks like this are unhappy inside and the only blooms that come out are negative blooms and thoughts. Perhaps with a little prayer and some TLC you could bring some light and love into their lives.

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those...
