Slow down. Rest In God as He works.

Benjamin Franklin Terry Texas Ranger is the name of our precious Kerry Blue Terrier.  He is in distress and we hope to be vet bound in the next hour after they open.  He is a sweet baby and spoiled and not trained but he is ours.

Colossians 1:13-14 us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love, in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins.

Not sure about you, but I always used to feel that it was my duty to pray about things and then step up to try to facilitate things to work out. After all that is what a mother does.  In a way I was trying to do God's job and arranging things to work a certain way. I have learned even again recently the Lord does not really want or need my help and He does a better job flying solo through these things. My job?  I need to praise him and only do what He seems to push me to do. (Sometimes that is tricky) When I pray I MUST believe God has this, or I am not walking in faith.

As I sit sometimes feeling unsafe or worried, I have to bring myself back to TRUST. The battle may rage on for me to interfere... but that will end disastrous. They say you cannot rescue a drowning person who battles you in the water through fear. I do not want to battle God's progress and mess things up.

This is the same with God, he cannot fight battles for us when we are in the way and insist on doing it our way.

"Spiritual forces cannot work while earthly forces are active." J.H. M.

Time means nothing to God nor do human deadlines. He has known these things would happen a long time ago and he truly has everything under control. We need to give Him space and time.  We are praising during this time and affirming His power.

"It takes God time to answer prayer. We often fail to give God a chance in this respect. It takes time for God to paint a rose. It takes time for God to grow an oak. It takes time for God to make bread from wheat fields. He takes the earth. He pulverizes. He softens. He enriches. He wets with showers and dews. He warms with life. He gives the blade, the stock, the amber grain, and then at last the bread for the hungry.

All this takes time. Therefore we sow, and till, and wait, and trust, until all God’s purpose has been wrought out. We give God a chance in this matter of time. We need to learn this same lesson in our prayer life. It takes God time to answer prayer. "—J. H. M.

We are still in waiting and prayerful praise that everything in our hearts and needs will be tended to. It will not always be as we hoped or wanted but it will be as God means it to be. We continue to pray for those of you in need, in crisis and in pain. Every day seems longer as we wait in prayerful praise for healing in our family. Now we have to include our precious Ben. I know many of you have pets, cats, dogs, horses, birds and more... they are woven into our lives and when they are hurting we are hurting.

Positive share... I had a wonderful good night of sleep last night. I am praising God continually this morning.

A Bit of Wonder Contemporary Horse Oil Daily Painting Art by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 x 2 inches of thick buttery oils! Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...

Arrival...Refrigerator?

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2024 Arrival Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   Proverbs 16:3 "Commit to the Lord whtever you do, and he will establish your plans."   Worrisome times laced with prayers.   The world seems like a scary place lately. Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...

The Marsh... of our lives? Walking with God.

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2024 The Marsh 6 x 12 inches Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   I did two of these paintings about three years ago. They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector. Simple and elegant for a horse painting.  Ephesians 5:1-2 "Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma."  One of the biggest challenges in walking with God is trusting Him and not trying to out think Him or to do everything your way. It never works.  The Apostle Paul wrote of his own struggles in Romans 7 .  Romans 7: 22-23 “ So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the ...
