" John 10:10 The Stolen Artwork The year was 2010 It was really called "The Get Away"   and to have it really be 'stolen away' was astonishing. My work was delivered to a gallery in Santa Fe, where several other artists I knew were represented. It was a little bit quirky but seem fine as one of the artists was an Artist of Texas and I had known her quite a few years.  The gallery had on and off problems but I did get paid for sales... then the owner had to travel and left someone there at the gallery... then due to health reasons it was closing and they sent my unsold work back, but no "The Get Away" .  I truly loved ...

There were not many people there. Today if you go on Sunday afternoon,  you could not stir them with a stick.  I had my canon camera with me and got some delightful shots of people being people.    My favorite photo I took that day was of an older woman carrying a basket with flowers in it. " 1 Timothy 1:15 Poppies The year was 2006 My colors went opposites and bloomed into these poppies.  I went through a painting period of painting a frame around things in 2007. I painted two of these but this was the first one and my favorite! Nine blooms in the pot and one on the counter. In process above is the painting for the wolves at the opening of this blog. This is the first time I have shared this painting and I did it almost 7 years ago.
