 This week continues as we have arrived today to what we call Maundy Thursday in our home.  It is the day of the Last Supper or of the Last Passover for Jesus with his disciples. It was at this time He washed the feet of his disciples in a display of humility. He commanded them to do the same for each other. It absolutely raises the bar of the definition of LOVE to a new and higher standard. Jesus loved His enemies and He calls to us to do the same. It brings a new spiritual life and the forgiveness of sins. We are to show love to those who do not appear to even deserve it. We are to show love unconditionally.  

 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another"John 13:34

 John 13:2-17 - "Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him. He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?” Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” “No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.” “Then, Lord,” Simon Peter replied, “not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!”

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
