"Vivid images are like a beautiful melody that speaks to you on an emotional level. It bypasses your logic centers and even your intellect and goes to a different part of the brain." Steven Bochco
Every painting has it's own rhythm and voice. I paint by music. Each painting has a variety of songs and words behind the process. Our lives are no different ... we have our own rhythm and voice. Each a unique timbre of sound in the melody of life. What is your melody? What is your life?
Here at the "Lazy Ours" we all have our day to live in the best way we can. Terry is man of all trades between yard, veggie growing, roses, flowers, cooking, helping with cleaning, wash etc. Lady L has her chores...feeding the dog, helping with dishes, clearing the table, picking up the den each evening and often reading to her baby sister. Me... I am suppose to be painting, blogging, marketing etc...but I want to be cooking and cleaning and among the family and NOT at the computer. I miss some of my regular chores and want to find that balance in life again. I love having babies and children around so living with my granddaughters is pretty special. (Week Four) Our daughter Stacey does her home business work with real estate... as Lauren says she talks on the phone most of the day...'blah blah blah'... make us laugh when she imitates her. Stacey keeps up with laundry folding, helps with cleaning, dishes, errands, some cooking, and shopping. Larry... well he works every day leaving at 6:15 and often not returning home until 6:30 or 7:00 pm. On the weekends he helps with whatever we are doing. I would say our musical output is more like a symphony in action... everyone coming in to help at the right moment contributing to the household.
Four Seasons by Vivaldi Spring
Gotta love it. Each of the seasons is beautiful. This is just a quick Youtube share.
What is your "music" in life? Laurie
"Very truly, I tell you, you will weep and mourn, but the world will rejoice; you will have pain, but your pain will turn into joy." John 16:20
