Sigh... Isn't it beautiful?  Iris at its best . Flower Photography by Laurie Pace

I took this painting about 12 years ago. Not sure where the years have gone, but the beauty of this moment stays fresh with me. It carries me through good and bad times. Many emotions roll through me when I look at it with the royal purples, the yellows, oranges, blues and greens. The soft delicate petals contrasting the dark thick green grass... restful. I must rest in God.

Often looking back in life it is sometimes easy to see how past situations have worked together for good. Sometimes we remember things that simply failed and did not go forward. IN the midst of challenge we can think about stories from the Bible like when Joseph was put in prison and Daniel was cast in the den with the lions. Egads, what would you do? Throughout all their trials they were protected by God and a new good was revealed for them.

Having that kind of unwavering faith is often difficult. We must trust that our highest good will arise from the situation at hand, no matter how bleak it looks.  Stay focused on that. Keep your heart open to His intervention. Each step will take you further into fully understanding. Try to release your fears and know all things will work together.

"Joseph said to them, "Do not be afraid!... Even though you intended to do harm to me, God intended it for good." Genesis 50:19,20

Sunlit Bowl

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2025 Sunlit Bowl Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   A Painting of soft pink and white flowers   created in 2013 brings back memories of living at Lake Cypress Springs. I loved it there. It did not love me!  Mold was my downfall.  I was prolific at painting there with my studio looking over the waters of a large catfish pond and Lake Cypress Springs. The mold pushed us back to DRY Dallas.  God guides our path today.  Memories are flooding in with the morning sun.  Proverbs 4:18    “ The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”  Today will be over 100 degrees but by Saturday the high is 79. Weather is the main talk these days. Remember I am in Texas.   We heard they may get snow in the Ohio River Valley. We are to see storms from the Pacific Hurricane coming our directio...
A Bit of Wonder Contemporary Horse Oil Daily Painting Art by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 x 2 inches of thick buttery oils! Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...
