Day Break Commissioned Painting

I began working in the upper left corner. I have to set up the paint to be bright and vivid enough to with stand a layer of white, carmel, maybe reds and more white for the mane. They have specifically ask for some blue in the sky, which is not a normal for me in any way. So as I work toward the right side top I will infuse some blues with Horizon Blue and some Cobalt Blue. (Holbein Duo Oils) The pinks and oranges evolved from Light Cad Yellow and Quinacridone Red and then working into the white with the QRed. I tried NOT to have purple from the pink on the blue. That is controlled by pressure in the knife.
