 This is a continuation of a story on a painting I did in 2008... a huge 4 ft by 12 ft. 
I just found images of it when cleaning out my files and decided to share the journey.

It has been raining for two days now but no one is complaining.  Suppose to rain today and tomorrow be crisp and clear. I am so ready. The rain has made for a nice birthday week nourishing me as well as good nourishment for the earth.  God is indeed good.  The next best thing was TWO birthday cards from Jan!  I thought the first one was over the top but then came a second one.  I feel loved...Thank you my heart sis.

Celebrating the year and anticipating the next finds me filled with enthusiasm for God and for life.  Allowing Him to work in you will bring about the same results... happiness, contentment, rich satisfaction, restful sleep and the continual love He keep wrapped around you. 

With this newness filling you, you can set new goals and dream about things.  He will guide you and guard you as you do.  Your enthusiasm will spread to relationships in your life and those around you will anticipate the joy your bring to each day. God will guide you. God will guide me.  He will reveal in His time the path that your life will be. Set your mind and heart to be open to this journey of discovery. Do not be afraid. Look at it like each day is a new present to unwrap and experience.

Oh yes. I remember this painting. This one and "the Conductor" are a couple of my favorites. I still can't get over the size of this painting. Thanks for sharing. Blessings, SusanD

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...

The Marsh... of our lives? Walking with God.

They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector.
