Monday dawns and Terry and I are on the way to see Steve, our doctor/oldest friend. I know I told you before he gave me my first kiss in fifth grade. He is a musician, piano, guitar and bass. In our younger years even 10 years ago, we just to meet on Wednesday nights with Mike Thomas and jam on the guitars and sing. Both of them can really really sing. We made the tours of Terry's mother's nursing home and we sang at Steve's mother renewal wedding vows ceremony. I miss those days! I must carve out time to relax and laugh again.

Mom did more unpacking of her bathroom yesterday and then slept all afternoon. She is very quiet these days. Please continue your prayers for her healing.

Today I want you to dream. God gave us this ability to dream and plan and have hope. Denis Waitley said "...that you've got to have a dream if you want to have a dream come true." Bring your vision forward and make it clear. Believe in what you cannot see. If you believe, truly believe, the best will be. Nothing can happen if you do not believe. Talk to God today about what you dream for in your life. Do not hold anything back....he just wants to hear from you and hear you voice what is in your heart. He already knows, but seeks the hear directly from your lips and your thoughts directed to him.

Four years ago I walked the streets of Jackson, Wyoming. We spent hours combing through the art galleries and I began my dream. I have painted my entire life but more so in the past five years. I want my art to be in homes and lives of those that can appreciate it; at the same time I longed to be there in Jackson, at a Gallery. July 12th I open with Nacona Burgess and Carol Spielman for CROSSING PATHS at the Rare Gallery in Jackson Wyoming. I had my first show three years ago in New York and it was an unbelievable week of joy, light, love and the realization of a dream coming true. Full circle back to Jackson this summer, Terry and I return after hard work for four years of believing and working toward this goal and dream.

When I was a teenager, I failed being a waitress. I have told this story before in the blog, so this will be short. I was devastated. Had to do with a curvature of the spine. I cried for two days and my mom said, God will provide if you trust and believe. I did. I prayed that weekend and gave it to him...and on Monday morning I was hired by Neiman Marcus as a model. Talk about dreams coming true for a 16 year old....

Take my word, He is listening.... he is waiting for you to believe.

"Lord, do you think a Santa Fe Gallery could be managed?"

Grace,
Laurie

"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:4-6

A Bit of Wonder Contemporary Horse Oil Daily Painting Art by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 x 2 inches of thick buttery oils! Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...

Arrival...Refrigerator?

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2024 Arrival Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   Proverbs 16:3 "Commit to the Lord whtever you do, and he will establish your plans."   Worrisome times laced with prayers.   The world seems like a scary place lately. Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
