ROOSTER ONE 2007

16 X 20 inch
Oil on Canvas

A Painting A Day

SOLD

FIRST, let me say I AM NOT A ROOSTER person! I love Natalie though and she wants a giant rooster for her home in LA. She also wants a palette knife rooster. Well, as a painter of horses this is a stretch...a stretch that requires some preliminary painting to get into the rhythm of painting roosters, especially a GIANT one on 3 by 4 foot canvas. SO be prepared for a rooster a week! It was fun and I will be playing around with different colors. This one is on auction on eBay...if I can figure out my new MAC will try and do a link to the auction. CLICK HERE>

Today is commission painting day and I will be in the studio working on Roses and Hands...two different pieces. Tomorrow hopefully on horses for a collector in NY. I will delay MR ROOSTER for a week or so. I cleaned up the studio last night...still cramped with the new MAC sitting on top of my computer desk. It would not fit in the hole. I will have to hunt a new set up this weekend and get back into working order...do we ever get into a working order in our lives? I spend so much time just trying to stay organized and am afraid I am missing out on life in general.

Have a great weekend.

Grace,
Laurie

PS Charlene....white flowers will be on the venue!

"I life a life of wisdom and fulfillment as I follow the light of Spirit."
"The Lord went in front of them in a pillar of cloud by day, to lead them along the way, and in a pillar of fire by night, to give them light, so that they might travel by day and by night." Exodus 13:21.

Sunlit Bowl

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2025 Sunlit Bowl Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   A Painting of soft pink and white flowers   created in 2013 brings back memories of living at Lake Cypress Springs. I loved it there. It did not love me!  Mold was my downfall.  I was prolific at painting there with my studio looking over the waters of a large catfish pond and Lake Cypress Springs. The mold pushed us back to DRY Dallas.  God guides our path today.  Memories are flooding in with the morning sun.  Proverbs 4:18    “ The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”  Today will be over 100 degrees but by Saturday the high is 79. Weather is the main talk these days. Remember I am in Texas.   We heard they may get snow in the Ohio River Valley. We are to see storms from the Pacific Hurricane coming our directio...
A Bit of Wonder Contemporary Horse Oil Daily Painting Art by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 x 2 inches of thick buttery oils! Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...
