We have all been there! In our lives we often have to take a stand. Sometimes we need to make sure we stand on the side of the Lord! Take a stand with Jesus.

My paintings are my gift from the Lord. The passion and creativity of painting has always been dedicated to my faith and the gifts the Lord provided for me in my life so far. I honor and credit Him for this blessing and gift. 

It seems right now like Christianity is not 'acceptable' in this age, but our home and our family align with the Lord in our life through our faith and our actions. What does it take to stand for the Lord? You cannot stand in the distance... you cannot hide your faith and convictions.  The Cross stands before us, even before you, where Jesus was crucified.  It is central to our faith. It is here you find the strength to take a stand for Christ. 

My eldest granddaughter is one that took her stand with Christ early in life and grew into an amazing believer that followed her studies throughout the Bible and from listening to sermons with her Dad. She is one of a kind and rare in today's world. She carried her testimony to her friends and even their parents.  She was not afraid to stand with Jesus. She was bold as she took her stand.  


Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So the life I now live in the body, I live because of the faithfulness of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me

That poor little 8 x 10 pony was loved by a company to do very large prints and it was not here for me to even use to scan... so I created something with the same heart, a kindred spirit. The underlays are pages from a western book and then torn papers of different varieties were added along with stains of paint and purposeful areas of paint.  This would not be a painting I would do today, but the goal was to capture the spirit of the first painting. We lost another dear family member this week. She has celebrated her 'continuation' day and is now with her mom and dad and her other cousins.  She leaves behind a family that will always celebrate her gentleness.  My aunt was special to all of us. She loved each of us dearly for who we were and was always ready with a hug or a 'good job'.    My memories are of breakfast pastries smeared with butter on top. It was not like they were not sweet enough as they were, but at her small kitch...
