Crossing the County Line
30 x 40 Oil on Canvas  SOLD  by Laurie Pace

Morning has broken... and the Texas Sun is heating up the day.  Wanted to share this contemporary Abstract Horse painting I did back in 2013.  Wild Horses are crossing the county line... the 'man drawn line' between counties in the state. Means nothing to the horses.  Their interest is to be near water and good grazing lands. In contrast to the wild nature of these wild horses... man keeps creating boundaries and lines and cutting back in the wild territory that serves as a home to our horses.

Mirada Fine Art in Denver sold this fine piece of art! They have several of my painting  there.

Romans 15:13 "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

We never know when we rise each morning what the day holds before us. If you are struggling or not feeling well it is often hard to do this. Trusting in God through everything is challenging and hubby and I know that now more than many challenges we have faced in our lives.

God's way is never our way. God's plan is never our plan. If you can ever get there understanding this, life is more simple with less worry about this day or the next day or even the week or the month. In life stop digging holes to fall into. Stop trying to figure things out... wasted worry and all mind games. It never happens as you believe it should.

TRUST in GOD

Sunlit Bowl

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2025 Sunlit Bowl Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   A Painting of soft pink and white flowers   created in 2013 brings back memories of living at Lake Cypress Springs. I loved it there. It did not love me!  Mold was my downfall.  I was prolific at painting there with my studio looking over the waters of a large catfish pond and Lake Cypress Springs. The mold pushed us back to DRY Dallas.  God guides our path today.  Memories are flooding in with the morning sun.  Proverbs 4:18    “ The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”  Today will be over 100 degrees but by Saturday the high is 79. Weather is the main talk these days. Remember I am in Texas.   We heard they may get snow in the Ohio River Valley. We are to see storms from the Pacific Hurricane coming our directio...
A Bit of Wonder Contemporary Horse Oil Daily Painting Art by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 x 2 inches of thick buttery oils! Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...
