IT IS THE HORSES! We lived in Justin, Texas when I painted this one. All in knife work and every horse has his individual personality. I love the way the sunset light fell upon the back of the horses... and their reflection in the water. What do you think?
Did you notice it is RED YELLOW AND BLUE? These are primary colors and the horses contain the golden browns. You can compare this to earlier paintings this week where the pull of the knife was vertical. In the painting the pulls are horizontal.
My horses are going to be dancing in through the next few days.... I will be pulling older paintings and some wild horses to be seen! I hope you enjoy them. Short blog for Friday. Need to get caught up in the house and start some food for the weekend.
Have a blessed weekend and be careful!
His love is unending. His forgiveness is unfailing!
