I am about half way through on this painting.  Taking a small break today and preparing for birthdays starting tomorrow with our youngest son and this weekend for our youngest granddaughter.  Cards ready to be designed and made for each of them.   I ordered my youngest son some special music writing notebooks for his passion of creating and performing music.  The Granddaughter is getting a beautiful necklace that Terry and I picked out for her! 

The Painting

Mirada Fine Art, my Denver Gallery, has a special Valentine show coming up and after a specialty show in March. I am painting this larger canvas for that show and it is reflective of my collected style over the past 20 plus years.  I will continue to show progress here on the blog as I work, and not sure if I can post a video or not here!

The other exciting news... Lumer has created a new design for my logo!  Hoping he will finish it this week and I can update my website. It is time, it has been two years. Meanwhile... please follow The Spirit of the Paint with me and GOD as I work through each new piece!

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
