Fall Rains and Facebook

FALL RAINS: Some days I am not sure which direction to go, other than to the Lord.  This beautiful painting is one of the last painted pony pulls with color and a palette knife that I did and it is still available.  Just click through on the painting or on the "Available". It is framed and the colors and thickness of the paint is incredibly strong. The colors in this photo do not do it justice, but if you click through, you will see the close up brilliant colors and texture of the thick buttery paint I use.  It is October but I have to keep reminding myself. At least we have only seen nineties a few days ago.  Tomorrow will be mainly seventies but ahead more warm days after. No fall rains. That is a bummer for our garden. No Garden other than sweet potatoes to harvest.

FACEBOOK: Let us visit on the other dry territory of FB.  My personal page was not duplicated, but it was hacked ...the password. It was about 20 plus letters, numbers and symbols and nothing you could discover without a way in. I cannot figure out how it happened. There is NOTHING to compare to being at the doctor, with the doc, on the exam table and your phone starts blowing up with texts and calls.  I found out 45 min later, someone had hacked my personal account and posted about 15 posts of the same collection of  5 clustered photos of pure porn. It literally disgusted me to the point of  feeling violently ill and violently attacked.   Before I saw the photos, in the car on the way home, I called my daughter and she saw them. I had her report it to FB so they would shut down my page, which they did, but they were not happy to allow me back in. I have been on the platform since 2009.  I am a Christian, conservative grandmother, mother and wife. My past on this platform has been family only. But I am locked out for violating policies against sexual content.  I had reported a probably attack on one my secondary pages and also posted about it on FB. It was only an hour later this occurred.

Who does this, and why do they do it? This is from the dark side of our nation. It came out of Mineola, Texas  What grows across this country that breeds people who commit crimes on the ground, on the internet and to random people is beyond my comprehension. From this experience, once they let me back on my page, there will be changes, and I will not be there often. I must keep my membership on FB because I do social media for my clients. This has affected my income and work because I cannot do it.  I know it was Mineola because FB had sent me an email while I was at the doctors office, asking if this was me signing in from Mineola Texas. It also had me signing in from Rockwall Texas, Ft. Worth and Trophy Club.  I put zero faith in this process.

I am going to ramp up this blog and be more proactive here. My roots are here from 2006 forward.  Please share if you have had any issues on FB or other platforms where someone has violated your account.

Meanwhile I appreciate you. I pray for our nation right now going into the elections. Make sure you are registered and please vote.

A Bit of Wonder Contemporary Horse Oil Daily Painting Art by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 x 2 inches of thick buttery oils! Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...

Arrival...Refrigerator?

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2024 Arrival Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   Proverbs 16:3 "Commit to the Lord whtever you do, and he will establish your plans."   Worrisome times laced with prayers.   The world seems like a scary place lately. Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...

It has to head to Mirada Fine Art in about three or four weeks... meanwhile it will be banished to the room with the dehumidifier in it.  Stay tuned at Mirada Fine Art with Steve Sonnen for more details about what is happening to this "crowd" from my Good People Series.  In fact, drop Steve an email and ask to be added to the mailing list for this special gathering.  Good food, good friends and good art.   What more could you want?
