PAINTING🖌

This is a peak into a painting... a small part of the whole. It stand alone even when it has not been completed. The eyes of a woman and the beginnings of her nose and mouth. She was part of a whole painting, which has been repurposed, but I could not do away with her face on the new painting. Will try to remember to post it again tomorrow as I know I might have posted it maybe a few months ago. Portraits, Women, Eyes tell all... 


MONDAY PLAY🖌

The day started at four this morning when I woke up way to early!  I listened to classical music, then watched some news and heard hubby up in the kitchen.  My direction was my treadmill first and then breakfast. My hubby had it ready to eat!  We prayed over all the hard things in the world right now and I raced into the studio.  It is here I began painting on a piece I sketched out last week on Sunday. I worked for two hours and thought I was there... but I was not. My youngest grand daughter arrived and I am homeschooling her helping out her mom.  When she left... back to the easel. 

I added more color but nothing was working. I am thinking this week I should share this progress painting with you. You would then see how things fracture apart allowing me to approach the painting with a different direction. Maybe I can pop those up tomorrow or Wednesday. 

Life is often like these paintings. We are exposed to so many things we must decide to include in our lives or our lifestyle. We often have to throw things out and begin again. 

Before I sign off, please if you are a believer, at 8 pm Central time every night, pray for our country to be safe, our citizens to be safe, our troops and pray our country can find their way back to God, to be a Godly nation. Can you imagine how much force we can marshal...

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...

The Marsh... of our lives? Walking with God.

They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector.
