Untethered
Days and Daze... I seem to exist between the two. I did complete the paintings for the new show opening at Mirada Fine Art this next month in Colorado! I promise to share photos as soon as I can. I am preparing to paint another large piece and probably a face again. Meanwhile, I just completed a horse on birch above.
My studio does not call me as often as it did. I have spent 23 years painting daily and marketing and at age 68, my other gifts are calling to me. Piano, guitar, singing, writing etc. Also, Hubby has been down a bit and I have been busy cooking healthy things for him to feel better. I did notice this week that this blog still has very high ranking and that is something I am honored by your presence visiting with me here if only to see my art.
Contact me here and let me know what type of subjects you would like to see in my small pieces this year. I have ordered new canvas and panels soon to arrive!
This horse painting... is a stallion with a wild eye and a cocky stance. He knows he is really good! The buttery Holbein duo oils and layers of Gamblin in some areas brings together color and depth.
Enjoy the week. A bit warmer here in North Texas with rain yesterday and rain the next two days! The flowers are up and blooming! (Even my peonies have surfaced slowly!)
Israel Unrepentant
“Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence." Hosea 6: 1-2
