““I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says, "Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.”  ― Louis Carroll - Alice In Wonderland

Nothing is more chilling that the rawness of winter.  Winter is here in full force.  We are almost to Feb and the memories of Feb last year are crashing in around us.  A close family member was hospitalized, an aunt died at 94 and Covid arrived... with a shut down March 2nd.

The rawness is still with us. The Covid is still with us. The "WINTER" is still here forcing us into isolation and madness.  Meanwhile I am painting forward all I can!
If you want to read more on my website blog, I wrote about how to make it through these challenging times. Only one thing has worked for us.  ABIDE... click through and read more.

“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing." John 15:4-5
