"Walk tall, kick ass, learn to speak Arabic, love music and never forget you come from a long line of truth seekers, lovers and warriors."  Hunter S Thompson

To walk the line is to maintain an intermediate position between contrasting choices, opinions, etc.  OR, to behave in an authorized or socially accepted manner, especially as prescribed  by law or morality...to exercise self-control OR to make a boundary by walking it.

What is your position in life right now?  I probably am NOT walking a line.  I am way over on the God side.   I am convicted to my beliefs. If I stray from His word or path, I am miserable and begin to condemn myself for my actions.  It spreads through my hours in my days and I know I have to repent and rest in Him.  It will eat me alive at night where I cannot sleep.

Repentance is the only way.  Getting raw and honest with God the Father and talking to him about the fall, the remorse, the confusion, the hurt, the pain... and allow him to cleanse the deepest part of my soul and heart. The Holy Spirit abiding in me enables me to stay away from that line.  The Holy Spirit keeps me aware.  When I am not with God... I am without His protection. I do not like to be there at all.

Are our experiences teaching us anything? I have to say yes for me.  My heart is open to God and I am ready and available to learn from my actions or lack of actions. I have to be open to share my heart with him and it is rather intimate that he knows my thoughts before I think them. Sometimes we feel God requires more of us than of others... and we are blessed.

One gift we have is prayer and Intercession.  It is an open dialogue with God for not just us, but for others. Where the conviction drew us seeking God, Intercession keeps us before him. He must be prominent in our lives and actions.  It is our opportunity to throw all things before him. Some he may need to intervene on, and others he may want us to wait until the time is right.

And I cannot end with out saying again, the importance of Thanks to our Father for EVERYTHING he provides in our lives through every day and every night. Thanksgiving is the most important action we have, acknowledging His mighty position, his glory, his compassion, his love for us... it is endless what we have to thank him for.

I do not have to walk a line... I need to walk in God's light.

"For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose."  Phil 2:13

A Bit of Wonder Contemporary Horse Oil Daily Painting Art by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 x 2 inches of thick buttery oils! Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...

Arrival...Refrigerator?

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2024 Arrival Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   Proverbs 16:3 "Commit to the Lord whtever you do, and he will establish your plans."   Worrisome times laced with prayers.   The world seems like a scary place lately. Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
