I secretly LOVE .... welcoming 2018 with God's unfailing love. Laurie Pace, Texas Artist

We always go to bed early... so I am up early... at six a.m. to greet 2018.  The Christmas LIghts in the front yard are left on around the clock over the holidays. I secretly LOVE getting up to them outside the glass front door.  The beauty of the colors again the night shining so pretty make my day as I realize the beauty lies ahead in this day as well. 

 It does not have to be new years to feel like you get to begin again... it is simply this moment. 

 Knowing God's unfailing love sustains me, I stand with my heart and arms open for this day and the year ahead.  

 Isaiah 54:10 "Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," say the Lord, who has compassion on you."

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
