 Yep... it is the same painting. Well you are not the same on the outside as you were 10 years ago... life has passed and experiences have changed things inside and outside of you.   This is the same painting but with some final layering of colors with bleed throughs of prior layers. 

 Takes time with abstract to allow it to 'age' and evolve to where it feels done.  During my studio renovation this piece has been on an easel in the living room where I have my eyes on it throughout the day.  Every time I look at it I discover new things in the surface. 

 I know each of us grows and changes with life and its happenings. I know God has traveled through life with me and knows all the different overlays in my life and the ridges and valleys across my surface. 

 Genesis 8:12 He waited seven more days and sent the dove out again, but this time it did not return to him.

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
