Paintings change for sure. This started as a red wolf... look how far that went. People change too. Both Paintings and People change. Some for the better and some not for the better.
So this red wolf became part of my expression for an upcoming show at Mirada in April. This is the show about the CALM after the STORM and the effect the election seem to have on all of our lives. The wolf came first... then there were three figures in the painting above... looks more like two big people and one smaller child. There is a connecting of arms where you see the purple, and there seems to be fire surrounding them all... but in the midst of the child is a red beating heart. Love conquers all. The sun breaks through the clouds on the upper left.
In life we have to know when to let go, when to respond and when to keep our mouths shut. We have to go through the storms to find the beauty and purpose on the other side.
"I would hurry to my place of shelter, far from the tempest and storm" Psalm 55:8
