 I love this painting.  It came with passion and not thought.  I entitled it Second Thought because it grew out of a prior attempts to 'get it right'. So at the time I painted it in 2007, it was Second Thought.  The weave of painting and color is pretty unusual and I can honestly say this weave has not happened again. This is an Akhal-Teke horse. 

 I want to share with you this morning that you are never a second thought to God.  He gives us 'second chances' and he will do it over and over again until we 'get it'.  Do not give up, know he is there with you as you breathe and move and live.  He is the power within you. He is the light within you. He is the joy and beauty within you.  He made you in His own image. 

 "If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them." Luke 6:29

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The Marsh... of our lives? Walking with God.

They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector. Simple and elegant for a horse painting.  Ephesians 5:1-2 "Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma."  One of the biggest challenges in walking with God is trusting Him and not trying to out think Him or to do everything your way.
