  Just a quick journal this day.  The wolves above are newly hanging at Mirada Fine Art in Denver.  Stop by and visit Steve and the staff and find some wonderful art for gifts or for your own home.

 Saturdays are busy... still in preparation for celebrating the first arrival of Jesus Christ to the earth. Every morning we light our candles in our wreath and spend time in God's word seeking his strength and guidance during this time. 

 The still silence of night often brings the opportunity to draw close to God and feel Him with you. Of course this is impossible here in the city, but Terry and I often reflect back to the days on the lake in the woods where the night was black and the stars seem so close you could reach out and touch them.  I never felt alone out there because God provided so much around us that kept us in amazement to his grandeur. 

 "The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them.  The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The infant will play near the cobra’s den, and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. In that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will rally to him, and his resting place will be glorious."  Isaiah 11:6-10

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
