“Not knowing when the dawn will come, I open every door.” ― Emily Dickinson, The Complete Poems
What do you see when you open every door? Do you see clearly what lies ahead or what is before you? We all seek clarity in life for making choices and decisions as we come to those doors and the choices before us. Only God knows that is meant for us and sometimes we choose a different door than He would have us open.
When asked to heal a blind man, Jesus put his hands over the man's eyes and his vision was restored. But was it? To the man, people looked like walking trees. Jesus laid his hands on him a second time and the man could see clearly.
When we turn for direction, we should seek and give thanks for the opportunity to see things clearly. Should doubts arise, we need not turn away, just turn back to Christ for clear vision. He provides Spiritual Clarity to us and despite any physical conditions, we can find abundance where others might see lack.
"Then Jesus laid his hands on his eyes again; and he looked intently and his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly." Mark 8:25
