The painting comes from early 2010.  Takes me back in time because Terry had pneumonia severely and I was total caretaker for him, while taking care of the house, our foster daughter and painting full time.  I was just coming off of eBay with contracts with galleries.  I was not sure I wanted to share this one today but I really really liked the movement and the colors. Sometimes it happens and you just stare at it. Not good or bad... just where did it come from running through your mind.

Following the quote... there are often paintings that do not make the grade, or feel right to me. Sometimes they are cleaned off the canvas and another painting is begun on top of it, or sometimes the canvas is shredded in the trash.   I cannot stop painting... I have to follow my passion and continue to create.  

I encourage you never to give up. If you are not living life as you need to, then you are not alive.

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
