I found this quote along with a few that really shook my brain... but I know each of us faces fear in our lives.  Then think about herd mentality and fear.  Seems to me like the media here is the USA thrives on presenting things through FEAR and it keeps a hold on us, swaying us all to certain beliefs that may or may not be true. The more startling and shocking news can be... the more they sell and make money off our fears and our seemingly endless thirst for drama in our lives.

You do not need to be part of the herd and you certainly do not need more drama in your lives. The current political scene has been churned up on steroids no matter if you sit on the blue side or the red side.  The more I read I have realized I am not either of these two things.  We have stopped watching the news as the media pushes us feeding into their frenzy. Are you running with one of 'those herds'?  Have you been swayed to believe things because you have 'done your research' on Dr Google who also supports the media?
As far as for Terry and I, we are in prayer throughout the day for this country and what lies ahead. I do not want to be apart of any 'herd' red or blue.  I want to live my life each day as God grants it to me, abiding in His word and using HIS WORD to filter every situation in life, every person, every culture, everything set before me this day.  I will not be swayed by my thoughts or reactions, the thoughts or reactions or opinions of others, or the current political correctness. I will be living in His word. 

What would this upcoming election be like if you kept the media out of it all?

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The Marsh... of our lives? Walking with God.

They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector.
