“I could hear you, talking to the daffodils and tulips, whispering to the fairies that lived inside their petals. Each separate flower had a different family inside it.” ― Lucy Christopher, Stolen: A Letter to My Captor
My husband bought six wrapped bundles of tulips at Whole Foods this week. He brought home pink, red, yellow, orange and white. My eyes were going crazy taking in the color and the beauty... so delicious! We decided to share the beauty with our granddaughters. We made them up a beautiful bouquet of pink, yellow and white, then our daughter in law had a combo like mine, red, yellow, white and orange. They literally light up the room.
I giggle when I think of tulips, Lady L painted tulips when she was about two. She takes her painting seriously. She just turned seven and has bloomed into quite an artist. Flowers are her favorite.
Enjoy the spring and the beautiful colors God has gifted us.
Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land. Song of Solomon 2:12
