 My dad's favorite song was:

 Joyful, joyful we adore thee
God of glory, Lord of love
Hearts unfold like flowers before thee
Opening to the sun above
Melt the clouds of sin and sadness
Drive the doubt away
Giver of immortal gladness
Fill us with the light of day.

 This is my song of choice to start each morning and especially in the shower!  It truly makes a remarkable difference in my entire day.   Do you have a favorite song?  Music is empowering!

 Everyone has a favorite song. Some may be from years before or some may be new ones that are popular today. Different times in life may call for different favorite songs.  Yet we still all have that special one that is the top favorite.  I love singing "Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay.... My oh my what a wonderful day..."  with my grandchildren.  At Christmas the car rings out loud with Christmas carols and Christmas songs.  Again, the favorites for the season!

 If you are ever tired... try standing with your legs apart and your hands on your hips. Then burst out in your favorite song and begin to dance. Energy will return. 

 Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. Psalm 96:1-3

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...

They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector. Simple and elegant for a horse painting.  Ephesians 5:1-2 "Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma."  One of the biggest challenges in walking with God is trusting Him and not trying to out think Him or to do everything your way.
