Just when you think life is on an even keel... you can count on something disruptive to happen.  That is called LIFE.  We cannot Live In Fear Emotionally... aka LIFE.  But truly life is filled constantly with change and learning to roll with the waves and not tump into the water is essential. 
We have heat and cold, love and hate, joy and sorrow, rain and shine... and life continues on. Choose to relax and roll with it if you can. If you can't pray, find a friend to talk you down to a better place.  The less you fight it or get upset by it, the sooner you will walk through it to the other side.  That is why we have not only God to depend on, but our friends and family. 
"My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior - from violent men you save me. I call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies." 2 Samuel 22:3-4

Be Strong and Courageous

Deut 31:6 This Stallion was painted back in 2010.  I am guessing it is oil by the visible layering strokes of my palette knife. The contrasts are precise and clear. The white cuts through the dark reds. The reds concentrate the motion and the shapes and everything moves counterclockwise. Temptation is calling me to paint.  Are there times recently you have needed strength and courage and felt defeated by other things before even facing the situation? Do you feel like you are going counter clockwise? Seems like life right now for many of us.
