“I met in the street a very poor young man who was in love. His hat was old, his coat was threadbare - there were holes at his elbows; the water passed through his shoes and the stars through his soul.” ― Victor Hugo, Les Misérables
Guided to the water, the horses gather for drink. We are guided in life by our choices as well. In this age of media and computers and cell phones... we are guided to be constantly connected. We cannot go to sleep at night without checking our phones, texts, email etc. We wake in the morning and grab our phone or ipad and begin our day with the same mentality.
What has happened to our lives? Connecting with God in place of our phones would be a fair place to begin. Allowing peace into our lives by choice and making better decisions. Living our days without being connected to our computers or phones... it would change your entire outlook if you can break the bounds that tie you so strongly to it. Yes I know... you read this on the computer! It might release me as well.
Lets try to get centered. I think I will be cutting back on my entries in my journal each week. Might even think about doing only three a week.
"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
