 This painting is at Kasum Contemporary in Oklahoma City.  The layering of color picks up the energy and flow of the wind.  Horses seem to adjust to life and people easily unless they have been mistreated. They are such loving creatures.   

 Staying the course... being steadfast in thought and actions and not allowing things to knock you off course is often a challenge in life. If you affirm a life of harmony, you can live a life with very little disturbances.  Look beneath the appearance of disorder to find the true divine order of life. Be confident in your inner serenity and find that special place of peace no matter what the direction of the wind.  Laurie

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
