The Haunted Mesa Buffalo Painting by Texas Artist Laurie Pace

The work continued over a four day period on and off. Standing back and coming forward. Debating sizes and places. Deciding on sprinkle colors and wanting to bring the eye into the weave of the pattern of buffalo crossing the land.

This is the stage after the blues and violets were painted.... Then came the sunrise on the mesa.


Brilliant golds and yellows as I worked in the shapes of the buffalo.  

Thought you might want to see a close up of one of the boys.  Patiently I have stayed the course with this painting, positive and filled with the spiritual faith building with it.  Too often when painting, it is easy to feel the stress of deadlines and shows and allow the anxiety to creep into the painting.  Staying the course allowed me to put my best into this painting and to have faith in what was being created.        Relax and let God do His work. Have faith and you will not be disappointed.  Laurie

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
