"If you want to see the sunshine, you have to weather the storm." Frank Lane
It is indeed one of my favorite quotes that makes me smile. Life if full of storms... and true to God's promise, the Sun always comes out after the storm.
Did you remember that Helen Keller said, "Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see a shadow." ?
Well the healing codes puts these two together. Our life experiences happen. The Storms are different for each of us. The heart results of those can be devastating and hurtful to ourselves and our health. What is left is not just a fading memory of a 'happening' or 'storm', but the heart memory of the feeling associated with the 'happening'. That is what fills our heart with the fear for the storm, not the storm itself. If you cannot root out that fear and banish it from your heart, you will carry the fear or hurt forever in this lifetime. THEN, if your heart and minds are set to keep your face to the sunshine...to GOD, you cannot see the storm nor feel the hurt from it any more.
As we move into Easter weekend, today it Good Friday. Good Friday is the day on which we commemorate the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross, the act that brought salvation to all who believe. Join me today and begin to put all your 'hurts and feelings' at the foot of the cross. Keep your eyes on God and walk away leaving all of them behind. Do not turn back for them. Instead replace them with joy, love and acceptance for yourself and who you are. God created you as a special person, unique with gifts and things yet to be discovered. Today begins the first day of the rest of your life.
Blessing you each today,
Laurie
Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.”[e] When he had said this, he breathed his last. Luke 23:46
