Bathing in Hot Sunlight . Still Snow on the ground? Is this really March?
The cold freezing temperatures raised the bar in the studio this morning. I brought out the powerful RED. I am in amazement at the first week of March and the continued cold, sleet and snow.
Flowing from the top left upper corner is the flooding of warm hot sunlight turning red as it surfaces down to the horses and the ground. This beauty sold already. I had it on the Collectibles for sale and the first day it was up... it was bought. If you like my small collectibles, you need to check them. They are added there usually a week or two before they end up here.
I wrote about simplifying many times this year. I have made mental notes in my posture and my feelings from the moment I wake in the morning to when I hit the bed at night. Each day begins with a single step...but I want that step to be toward peace and joy... and every step after. If I begin my day with a mental list racing through my head of what has to be done, I find myself tense and ready to do battle. The peace is not there and joy is fleeting.
My first step is now to pray upon waking and then connect with God on the feelings I want to have bless my day. They are there for the taking. To move forward in life with a smile and contentment in my heart knowing God has both my front and my back... relieves me of a lot of stress and worry. This alone opens up tremendous possibilities in the day with not only my art but with the people in my life. It is indeed a small step but even after just a few days, it is my step with confidence in myself knowing God has it all for me if my heart is open.
