Catching Butterflies

There is a happy world out there. God has created  inside  each of us a full range of emotions to develop and use in our journey. Every experience we encounter fine tunes our emotions and we learn to respond to sad things, awesome things, loving things, joyful things, scary things etc.
We have been given the gift of emotions and we can choose to live in joy and give 'joy' and 'love' to others each day. YOU and I can make a difference when we meet someone with a smile, a warm compliment, a pat on the back, a hug or some empathy in bad times. We truly can affect the lives of others and situations we are faced with every single day.
Chose optimism.  Chose  joy. Chose to laugh and share your happiness with others. You carry the grace and light of God and you can create a happy life. 
"A glad heart makes a cheerful countenance." Proverbs 15:13

** Catching Butterflies was painted for a dear collector in Connecticut.  My first painting was of her daughters in the sand way back in 2003 or 2004.  This was painted in 2008 in the spring. I also painted the entire group of brothers and sisters and if I can find the jpg, I will share that one too!  Might have to go look now. SMILE!

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...

They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector.
